Safety and compliance are not added to LINKFAIR's operations — they define them. Every procedure, certification, and audit is built around four international maritime standards plus a clear insurance position, so that our clients, crews, and regulators know exactly what we hold ourselves to.

ISM Code

International Safety Management

An IMO requirement (SOLAS Chapter IX) for a documented Safety Management System covering vessel and shore-side operations — built around clear responsibilities, documented procedures, and verified audits.

STCW

Training & Certification of Seafarers

The international convention defining minimum training, certification, and watchkeeping standards for seafarers, including the Manila Amendments (2010). Sets competency requirements by rank and vessel type.

Flag State

Flag State Requirements

Each vessel registers under a flag state (Angola, Liberia, Marshall Islands, Panama, etc.) which layers its own regulations on top of IMO conventions — covering safety inspections, certifications, manning, and pollution prevention.

MLC 2006

Maritime Labour Convention

The ILO convention covering seafarers' rights, working conditions, hours of rest, accommodation, food, health protection, and social security — the "Seafarers' Bill of Rights."

Insurance

Civil Liability Insurance

LINKFAIR Maritime Offshore Angola maintains civil liability insurance coverage for its maritime service operations. The policy is structured to protect against third-party claims arising from professional services, vessel management, and operational support — supporting responsible business conduct and client confidence.

Coverage areas

  • Professional indemnity for ship management, port agency, and marine survey services
  • Third-party liability for personal injury and property damage
  • Legal defence and investigation costs
  • Pollution-related liability within the scope of the engagement

General limits

Coverage limits are aligned with industry standards for ship management companies operating in Angolan waters. Specific limits, the certificate of insurance, and additional named-insured coverage are available to prospective clients on request and form part of every engagement contract.

Customer Relationship Management Procedure

Our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) procedure ensures consistent communication, structured 360° client feedback, and verified action close-out across every engagement. Full documentation is aligned with ISO 9001:2015 principles and available to prospective clients on request.

Quality Management System

Safety, compliance, and quality define how LINKFAIR operates. Every procedure, certification, and audit is built around four international maritime standards, an ISO 9001:2015‑aligned Quality Management System, and a clear insurance position — so that our clients, crews, and regulators know exactly what we hold ourselves to.
